Contest Rules

1)      PARTICIPATION CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF RULES.  Participation in this sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules.  Principal sponsors (hereafter referred to as “Sponsor”) of this sweepstakes are: Pursuit Channel and Wild Outdoor Adventures.  For the purposes of correspondence regarding this offer, the primary contact will be Wild Outdoor Adventures. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel this Sweepstakes at any time and substitute another promotion in its place.

2)      NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  Entrants do not have to purchase any products or visit any location to participate or to win.  A purchase does not improve chances of winning.  Void where prohibited, taxed or otherwise restricted by law.  Subject to all federal state and local laws.

3)      ELIGIBILITY.  This Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older and have a valid email address.  Employees (their families and members of their household) of Sponsor, their parent or subsidiary companies, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible to win.  Entrants acknowledge that their email address may be used for the marketing purposes of all prize contributing promotion sponsors, yet said address will not be sold or provided to any third party outside of this promotion.  Entrants may unsubscribe from the promotional email list at any time.
Entrants must be in possession of or eligible to obtain a valid passport for international travel within the timeframe of the trip.
Entrants acknowledge that this promotion involves a hunt and must be willing and able to harvest animals on camera.  In the event that the winner accepts the trip and elects not to harvest animals when the opportunity exists, they will be financially responsible for the cost of the trip, valued at $10,000 USD.

4)      HOW TO ENTER:  Sweepstakes begins on May 1, 2009 and ends on Dec. 31, 2009 (the “Promotional Period”).  To enter, fill in the form on this site.  All entries must be received no later than 11:59PM Dec. 31, 2009.  All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.  Incomplete entries are void.  By entering, all entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions shall be final and binding as to all aspects of the promotion.  False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible.  Sponsor is not responsible for printing errors in these Official Rules.

5)      PRIZE.  One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a:
7 Day Guided Hunt including meals and accommodations with African Trophy and Culling Safaris.
Trophy fee waiver for one each: Black Wildebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Blesbuck, and Common Springbuck.  Additional animals may be purchased during the hunt if desired.
Round-trip airfare from Atlanta, GA to RSA.
Domestic round-trip transportation from airport to lodge included. (Taxidermy and shipping transfer of winner's animal returning to the USA is winner's sole responsibility).

Winner acknowledges that except and to the extent that the Sponsor cannot by law exempt itself from responsibility or liability, the Sponsor has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prizes described herein; including but not limited to, its quality, merchantability, mechanical condition, or fitness for use.  All warranties are hereby disclaimed, and the winner will accept the prize “as is.”  All federal, state and local taxes, transfer fees and other expenses not specified herein are the winner’s responsibility.  Prize cannot be assigned, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.  If the prize is unavailable, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted.  The random drawing will be on or about Jan. 5, 2010.

6)      WINNER.  The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by Sponsor.  Potential winner will be notified by phone & email and will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release to be returned within 5 business days of notification.  If the potential winner fails to submit the affidavit in the time allowed, declines to accept the prize or the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and the Sponsor will select an alternate winner.  By participating, entrants release Sponsor and their parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated businesses, their advertising and promotional agencies and the officers, directors, employees and agents of each from any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described) for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with receipt, enjoyment, ownership or use of the prize and winner grants permission to Sponsor to use winner’s name, age, city, state, photograph or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation or approval (where lawful).  Winner will be responsible for signing a photo-release form for WOA Productions, LLC as well as a hunt contract and liability release for hunt outfitter.

7)      ODDS.  The odds of winning will be entirely determined by the number of valid entries received.  The contest is for one winner only.

8)      DISPUTES.  Each entrant agrees that 1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the State of Alabama; 2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this sweepstakes, but in no event Attorney’s fees; and 3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of  the State of Alabama, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Alabama or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of ay jurisdiction other than the State of Alabama.
